I bring news of three forthcoming events:

- Saturday 19 May
Albino play the antifolk festival at 12 Bar Club, Denmark Street (by Tottenham Court Road tube). We’re on at 9pm and will be performing a range of new songs from our forthcoming CD including: “Blue Blooded Woman”, “Dinosaur”, “Always on the wrong side” and “Buddha’s Lullaby”. To check out the other performers who are also on that evening, visit: www.antifolk.co.uk

- Saturday 9 June
Albino play at St. Luke’s Church, Kilburn. We will be accompanied by the St. Luke’s Church band, including cellos and hurdy-gurdys and a load of other stuff. We’ll be getting this recorded so please come to make a loud noise. Tickets are at a voluntary donation level yet to be set and proceeds will go to charitable activities. Get ready for some kickass Christian martial oompah music.

- New CD
We are in the middle of recording a fine new CD, a vast improvement on either “Latrine Blues” or “Bleeding Heart Yard”. At the moment we’re planning on calling it “Live at Gomorrah” but that may change, especially in the light of the fact that (a) it isn’t a live CD and (b) none of us have ever been to Gomorrah, except figuratively.

Bye for now
